January - "My Husband Went to Antarctica"

On January 2006, as a 49th birthday gift to my husband, he sailed to Antarctica on the bark EUROPA - a three mast rigged ship built in 1911 and restored in 1994. The EUROPA was powered by canvas and co-operation of professional crew members and 35 passengers who helped with the anchor daily.
