"Sun Kissed"

Like many (perhaps most) people of Northern European extraction, I suffer from winter Seasonal Affective Disorder. Though I am not a bronzed sun worshipper, my heart leaps with joy at the sight of blue skies and bright sunshine. My brain biochemistry is timed to the sun's seasonal double spiral dance around the sky. No matter where my children's children travel, even to another solar system -- where the constellations themselves look different in the night sky -- they will carry the necessity for the light of Sol stamped on their genes.
