- (6 Apr 07) The complementary action, of starting a windows
explorer
session in the current directory, can be accomplished by entering
the
following command in the command prompt: "explorer ."
- (11 Jun 06) You can also access the program from the File menu.
- (07 Jun 06) You can start the command prompt from a network
share's
folder background, by disabling UNC pathname checking, as follows:
- In the registry, add a new DWORD value named "DisableUNCCheck" in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Command Processor,
and set its value to 1.
