They say that in each quilt, you give part of yourself - in this quilt, it's literally true. Three hours before the photographer came to photograph the quilt, the center of the labyrinth was still missing. I was looking for something circular but I couldn't find one. I scratched my head and realized I had a Buchara cap (yarmulkah). That richly embroidered cap is now at the center of the quilt.
